Retinal Camera

What is a retinal photo?

Answer:

A retinal photo is a digital photograph of the retina that is taken as part of your routine eye exam. The retina is located in back of the eye and is responsible for detecting light and allowing you to see. These amazingly detailed photos allow your eye doctor to detect and monitor many eye diseases including glaucoma, macular degeneration, hypertension and diabetes.

The photos take only a few seconds to capture and they are immediately examined and reviewed with you during your visit.
