We’d like to introduce you to our doctors:

 

Dr. Graham Foster
Graduate of the State University of New York, 1999

Dr. Foster received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Alberta, and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York. Located in lower Manhattan at Suny he experienced unparalleled clinical exposure. The four-year Doctor of Optometry program at SUNY shares faculty with the New York University’s School of Medicine, as well as having many ophthalmologic staff from New York Eye and Ear.

Following study at SUNY, Dr. Foster received further training in the treatment and management of ocular disease with a residency program at West Haven Veteran’s AffairsHospital in Connecticut. The hospital was connected to the Yale University, and the residency consisted of corneal, retinal glaucoma and general ophthalmology grand rounds with the Yale ophthalmology students and professors. He then did a second residency in Buffalo, New York at three different general and surgical sites associated with the HMO Health Care Plan.
Since graduation in 1999, Dr. Foster has been working in private practice in the lower mainland. He has worked with the team optometrist of the Vancouver Canucks, the B.C. Lions, and previously, the Vancouver Grizzlies. He has a keen interest in visual performance of all kind, including the pediatric and sport population.

Dr. Corinne Knight,
Graduate of the University of Waterloo, 1985

Dr Corinne Knight began wearing glasses at age 8, and became fascinated by vision and Optometry during her childhood eye exams. She finished her undergraduate studies in her hometown at the University of Calgary, and went on to complete a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 1985 after achieving Dean’s List all four years and graduating with Honours. Dr Knight finds the advances in the science of vision care and the technology involved exciting, and genuinely enjoys taking care of her patients. When not peering at your eyes, Dr Knight can be found out enjoying the West Coast outdoors.

Dr. Elana Schiller,
Graduate of the University of Waterloo, 1999

Dr. Elana Schiller has been practicing in the Vancouver area since 1999. She is a graduate from the University of Waterloo with Dean’s Honour List. Growing up in Winnipeg, Dr. Schiller began wearing glasses and contact lenses at a young age. Already in high school she knew she wanted to be an optometrist. Today, Dr. Schiller enjoys spending time with her family as well as striving for excellence at work. She prides herself in attention to detail and cares for each individual patient.

Dr. Angela Lee

Dr. Angela Lee has been practicing Optometry for over 19 years and is a graduate from the University of Waterloo’s Doctor of Optometry Program. She has been active in professional mentoring programs, writing articles and speaking to different community groups on eye-related health issues. She has participated in many local community events such as childhood screening programs and nursing home visits, and has appeared on Breakfast TV as a guest speaker on the importance of protective measures for the eyes. Dr. Lee is an adamant proponent in preventative health and practices this too in her personal life by living a healthy, balanced and active west coast lifestyle. Her passions include spending time with her family, skiing, yoga and tennis.
